500 trees donated by 8.2 to the "Plant-for-the-Planet" foundation

The children and youth initiative Plant-for-the-Planet was launched in January 2007 by Felix Finkbeiner at the age of nine. At the end of a presentation he had to give at school with the topic climate crisis, he asked his fellow pupils: "Let us plant a million trees in every country on earth!

Meanwhile, the goal of the children and youth initiative is to plant 1,000 billion trees worldwide by 2020. Trees are the cheapest and most effective means of binding CO2.

Thus, mankind will get a time advantage in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions up to zero and in order to mitigate the climate crisis.
